4th edition was a nightmare - most of the bindings were poorly done. He re-glued/taped many of them himself before sending out.
One thru three - probably the coolest - that thin green book with the yellow book cover and plastic cover on some and the glossy paper that was used inside - VERY NICE! Most unique would be the 3rd edition paperback version. Haven't thought about it but maybe the reason for the paperback was the shortage of funds at the time - maybe it was the pre-flight to the hard copy that wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for Don Shaw writing Homer a check to make it happen. Homer hand wrote in Don's copy - something to the effect - "Wouldn't have happened without you". Probably why the 3rd hard back and the 3rd paperback can be the toughest to find - due to the limited amount produced.
Great stuff Mike O. Thank you!
